WAGS

The Western Algebraic Geometry Seminar

General Information

WAGS is a reasonable large twice annual conference: a chance for
algebraic geometers in the western part of the continent to get
together, hear of recent advances, and talk. WAGS lasted for almost a
decade, and then lapsed for a few years with the exodus of a few key
senior people eastward; Aaron Bertram resurrected it by applying for a
grant and having a preliminary meeting in Utah in the Fall of 2002.

The first WAGS of the new series took place in Spring 2003 at
Stanford . The next Spring WAGS will take place at the University of
Utah.

Schedule:
There will be 5 talks on Saturday and 2 talks on Sunday morning. This
enables participants to return home on Sunday afternoon. We are
planning a barbecue Saturday evening and a Dim Sum brunch on Sunday.
