ABSTRACT.
This talk is concerned with coderivatives of nonsmooth and set-valued
mappings (multifunctions) which are natural generalizations of the adjoint
operator to the classical derivatives. Such constructions provide useful
tools for the study of certain basic questions in variational analysis and
optimization. We present some calculus results for coderivatives in finite
and infinite dimensions as well as their applications to Lipschitzian
stability, optimization, and optimal control.
