  • Undergraduate summer research programs for the summer of 2019: The web site still has last year's information up. Application deadlines and other important information will appear here shortly. Students may want to look at the reports from previous years. We hope to get a new list of projects up by January.

  • Remark 12.01: The summer program is very useful if you want to experience what math research is like. Moreover, it is a great bonus on your cv if you apply for graduate programs in math or other disciplines. For example, the speaker of the Math Colloquium yesterday (Friday Nov 30), was an undergraduate in UBC and was admitted to Columbia University PhD program because of his summer research. He then did his postdoc at Harvard, and is now an Assistant Professor at MIT.
