Partial Differential Equations of Fluid Mechanics
UBC MATH 515, Section 201, Spring 2011
This course studies the PDE theoretic aspects of the incompressible
Navier-Stokes equations, which is the basic mathematical model for the
motion of viscous incompressible Newtonian fluids. Later topics of the
outline may be replaced, according to audience interest, by the theory of
inviscous fluids, compressible fluids or non-Newtonian fluids.
