There is a general page on Greek mathematics: But I don't find it so useful. Not nearly skeptical enough. Illustrates well my remarks about the history of topics. The real indication of poor quality is that nearly all the items in the reference list are to books that themselves are accounts just like the one that's being written in Wikipedia. Perhaps two (Christianidis and Heath) escape. Furthermore, there is one standard reference not here, a two-volume set with original Grek faced by English translation. There is probably an equivalent in German.

There is no excuse for not going as closely as possible to the original material. Secondary sources should be used mostly for interpretation, not facts.
