The summer school is part of the CRM-PIMS Thematics Program Challenges and Perspectives in Probability and will consist of two advanced graduate courses. The courses will be as follows:

Stochastic Population Systems - Don Dawson

Statistical Mechanics and the Renormalisation Group
- David Brydges

June 8 to July 3, 2009,  30-hour graduate courses.

Each course will include 30 hours of lectures. Course credit will be available for graduate students in Western Canada through the Western Deans' Protocol.
