MATH 101, Winter 2009— Integral Calculus with Applications to Physical Sciences and Engineering

Suggested weekly homework problems are posted here. Your instructor may assign all of or some of these problems, and also may assign other problems not on this list. Doing the homework problems is essential in order to do well in the course. Your instructor may give quizzes based on assigned homework and/or collect and grade homework assignments to ensure that you are doing homework.

These problems are from the text, Calculus, Early Transcendentals, 6th edition or Single Variable Calculus, Early Transcendentals, 6th edition, both by James Stewart. Answers to the odd-numbered problems are given in the back of the text, and solutions are in the Student Solutions Manual, which is included with the text.

At least 2/3 of the questions on the common final exam and the common midterm exam will be similar to these problems.

The “Weeks” here correspond to those given in the course outline.
