PrefaceHistory of the UBC edition

  • The Georgia Tech/Duke edition, entitled "Interactive Linear Algebra" was published in 2019, by Dan Margalit and Joseph Rabinoff, with contributions from Larry Rolen.

  • This UBC version, entitle "Interactive Linear Algebra [UBC]" was published in 2020. It is a modified version of the Georgia Tech/Duke edition by Ben Williams. The following modifications have been made:

    • The order of the first six sections has been changed, so that vectors and vector geometry come before systems of linear equations.
    • The section on discrete dynamical systems has been added, and the section on stochastic matrices has been changed to accommodate it.
    • The spelling was changed to Canadian spelling, and the UBC theme was added.
