Homework Logitics
- Weekly homework assignments will be given.
These are each Friday at 16:00.
- You can hand in during class, or upload your submission to canvas as pdf files.
- Assignments submitted later get 10% deducted for each hour (or part of an hour) they are late.
- The single lowest assignment grade will be disregarded.
The rest will account for 15% of the final grade.
- It is acceptable to work on assignments and discuss the problems in groups. However, you should write your own solutions afterwards in your own words.
- You are encouraged to typeset assignments.
I recommend learning LaTeX.
Many online resources on LaTeX are easily found.
Two beginner-friendly systems for using TeX are overleaf and LyX.
There are many others.
- TeX source files for assignments will also be provided, as well as a solution template you are free to use.
